PAISLEY, John (1869 or 1870-11/06/1938). He was born in Toodyay. He was the son of Thomas and Margaret. He married Dorothea Hilda Weidimann (10/1904). He was a Secondary Schoolmaster in Bunbury from 1887 to 1889. Later became a bank officer in Bairnsdale, Victoria.  


PAISLEY, Thomas William (1861-14/08/1928). Thomas was born in Bermuda and died in Bunbury. He was the son of Thomas and Margaret. He arrived in Busselton (15/02/1863) with his parents on the Merchantman. He married Martha Rabiney McGregor (04/04/1866-25/10/1949), daughter of Daniel and Agnes, on 6/1/1886. Children Ivy Gladys (1886-1947). Leslie William (1888-1974). Selwyn Addey (1890-1958). Vera Agnes Margaret (1892-1974). Cyril John (1894-1951). Thomas McGregor (1904-1930). Thomas was a Bunbury School teacher in 1881. He was a lay preacher in the Anglican Church.


PALMER, Fred. Fred arrived at Fremantle 04/08/1838 on the Shepard. A whaler applied for a sawyer's licence (11/1842) at Bunbury 1844 and Toodyay 1849. This man arrived from Champion Bay (02/1850) on the Champion. He was one of a party returning from the new settlement at Geraldton. 


PALMER, Henry (1842-). Arrived on the 09/06/1862 on the Norwood, In Bunbury 1870 employed one ticket of leave man. In 1871 departed for Shanghai. 


PARKER, Charles. In Bunbury 1867 employed one ticket of leave sawyer.


PARKER, Pete Robert. Of the twenty-first Regiment. Stationed in Western Australia (1833-1840). In Augusta 1833, he accompanied Lieutenant Bunbury on one of his journeys. 


PARMENTER, William (1825-). Arrived 09/06/1862 on the Norwood, with wife Martha and four Children embarked (23/1865), the two youngest died on the voyage. Children James W. (1853), Martha S (1853). Martha E died (1865) infancy, Arthur S died (1865) infancy. William was a labourer in Bunbury, later became a bricklayer and land-owner. In 1877 signed a petition regarding discrimination against expirees. In 1866 to 1876 employed eight ticket of leave men on occasions, including a sawyer, a woodcutter and a mason in 1872.


PARSONAGE, John (1834). He was the son of John, arrived 31/12/1862 on the York, with wife and two children. In the United Kingdom, married Perth Charlotte Gross (1834) on 12/06/1867. Daughter of John, she arrived 02/01/1867 on the Bride. In Bunbury 1870 employed three ticket of leave men. In 1872 sailed for Singapore.


PARSONS, Harry (1861-1914). Harry was born in Bunbury and married Janet (1879-05/11/1915). She died in Bunbury. 


PARTRIDGE, John (07/06/1856-14/08/1936). He was born in England, John was the son of Frederick Robert arrived from New Zealand in 1881 on the Otway. He married Eleanor Berkellman Ker (04/04/1863-03/12/1944) in Brunswick on 24/04/1891. Daughter of Henry Thompson and Dorinda. Children were Harriet Rippinghal (1894-1964). Oswald John (Jack) (1896-1952), WaIter Stephen (1898-1969). John prospected in the Kimberley goldfields in 1886 without success. Later in 1887 he inspected several Gascoyne sheep stations and properties in the Avon district before purchasing White Rocks farm in Brunswick Junction.


PAYNE, Albert Charles (07/1848). He was the son of George and Julia. He married Marry Ann Hough (10/05/1850), born in Bunbury. Daughter of James and Ann. Charles was a teamster in Ludlow and Capel (1888-1889). Also worked as a farmer in Paynedale, Donnybrook. 


PAYNE, Alfred Williams (11/07/1848). He was the son of George and Julia. Married Sarah Ann Hough (18/04/1871-25/05/1950) in Australind, she died at 92. Daughter of James and Ann. Children were Fanny, Foster Alfred (1878-1947), Aubrey Williams (1881-1951), Mervyn Walter (1885), Arthur George (1886-1966), James Marshall (1887), Julia May (1890), Ivy Elizabeth (1892-1956), Amy Ann (1895), Minna Olive (1898), Charles Owen (1902-1923). Alfred was a farmer in Capel from 1879 to 1887, later became a teamster from 1888 to 1889. 


PAYNE, Arnott (1873-13/03/1939) He died in Boyanup. He married Sarah Ellen Hurst (05/01/1874-25/01/1946), born and died in Boyanup. Daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Ann (nee Ecclestone). Children were Percy, Clarence (1899-1977) (First Freeman of Bunbury in 1977), Gladys Doreen (1900-1914) drowned, Norman Roy (1903), Mavis Elle (1905-1973). Arnott was a farmer in Boyanup. 


PAYNE, Arthur Lewin (06/12/1850) He was born in Vasse. Arthur was the son of George and Julia. He married Elizabeth Ellen Knapton (10/03/1856), born in Vasse, in Bunbury on 18/11/1874. Daughter of George Holland and Eliza. Children were Justus Arthur (1876), Viola May, Horace Holland (1883), Francis Althea (1881), Florence, Frank. Arthur worked as a wheelwright in Vasse. He was part of the Captain Citizen of London (schooner) with brother George in 1878, a vessel stranded at Bunbury and broke up in 1880. Later became a Boatman from 1879 to 1888. 


PAYNE (PAINE?), James (1817-29/07/1856). James was born in England and died in Bunbury. He married Ann McCourt (1837) in Capel in 1853. Daughter of James and Mary. Children were James (1854), Anne (1856). James was a grazier and farmer at Capel Farm in Dardanup. He had a holding pastoral lease of 10,000 acres in 1853 and 20 acres of freehold Wellington district in 1855. Sister Frances Paine living at Capel Farm, was a beneficiary of 50 people in The Church of England.


PAYNE, John Henry (07/10/1867). He was born in Bunbury. John was son of George Canham and Elizabeth Ann. He married Laura Evelina Bond on 06/04/1867. Daughter of Thomas Bond of London. Children Eileen Mary Myerscough baptised in 1890, Winifred Laura baptised in 1894, Percival John George baptised in 1896, Eric Arthur (1905). John was a clerk at John McCleery's Wine & Spirit. Later became a Clerk at Fremantle Bank in 1884. Then the Adelaide Steamship Co. office (1887-9). Accountant with Lionel Samson'sSamson's firm. Visited Eastern colonies in 1887. Trustee and Treasurer of Fremantle Literary Institute. Member of Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, Fremantle Bowling Club and The Church of England. Education Fremantle Government School.


PEAD,  Alexander William (19/04/1810-09/09/1879). He was the son of William and Eliza. He died in Cossack. Alexander married Catherine Healy (1844) in Geraldton on 09/05/1871. She arrived on 05/08/1868. Children William (1872-1873), Alexander (1874-1874), Fred Walcott (1875), Alexander (1876-1886). Surviving the loss of the Albatross wrecked off Dongara in 1868. Later he became a ship's carpenter in 1873. Set up as a storekeeper in Cossack and bequeathed $1000 to his widow, who ran a boarding house in Cossack from 1886 to 1889. His religion was Roman Catholic.


PEIRL, Edward John (09/06/1848). He was born in Fremantle. Edward was the son of John and Frances. Married Sarah Hughes on the (20/10/1868) in Perth. The daughter of John and Sarah (Mary) arrived on 29/04/1857 on the Travancore with her mother. Their children were John (1869-1936, Frances (Fanny) (1872) born in Bunbury, Mary Ann (1874-1946) born in Perth, Archibald, Amelia E (1877) born in Williams, Sarah E. (1879) born in Albany, Maude, Edward (1884) born in Vasse, Laura Mary (1887-1897) born in Rosebourne, Frederick Patrick (1891-1979), Harold Francis (1894-1956) born in Cosack. Employed by Captain Harding, harbour master. He joined the Police Force 12/1866 at Fremantle to Bunbury 1867. Transferred from Williams to Albany 1877. Promoted to First Class P.C. 1886 while at Roebourne. Police Sergeant at Cossack for several years. 


PENNY, Charles Beach (1806). Arrived on 18/03/1841 on the Parkfield, his wife was expected to follow in the next ship from England. Sawyer and brewer. In partnership with Lewis Birch (this was dissolved 18/4/1841. Bought vessel Fly for £6 in 1843. He visited South Australia, returning 02/1844 on the Waterwitch and again later in the year. He ran a whaling station at Bunbury with John Hurfor died but then ran into difficulties and left for Eastern colonies 12/1846 on the River Chief. 


PENTLOW, Robert. Departed 19/03/1870 for South Australia with wife, arrived 17/09/1870 from Victoria. With his wife arriving 07/1881 from Melbourne. In 1877 Bunbury miller signed a petition regarding discrimination against expirees. 


PERICLES, Arthur (1874-03/12/1949). He was born in Claremont, son of John Rodokahi (M.D.). Married Evaline Mary Properjohn (13/08/1879-18/06/1946) in Bunbury on 31/03/1899, she died in Claremont. Daughter of Charles Daniel and Margaret. Children were Adelaide Stella May, Jack, Alice Dagma, Gifford Gordon, Iris Evaline, Arthur Leonidas, Emma Flora, Kenneth Henry, Cecil Leslie Gerald, Gloria Rebecca Kathleen. Arthur was a mercantile clerk at Fremantle then Bunbury for a brief period, where he had a laundry business in 1900. After that, he returned to Perth and was a commercial traveller. At one time, he was editor of The Record. His residence was at Claremont. 


PERKlNS, Henry (1826). Arrived on the 28/01/1862 widower with four children in the United Kingdom. Henry employed ten ticket of leave men, mostly sawyers, at Perth, Canning and also in Bunbury. He sailed for Shanghai on 28/04/1873. 


PERREN, Arthur Brook (1851-1923). Arthur was born in the United Kingdom and was the son of James and Mary Ann Elizabeth. Married Rebecca Gardiner (03/9/1865-1932). Daughter of Alfred and Susanna. Children were Arthur James (1896-1949), Alfred Cecil (1900-1900). Arthur was a farmer in Brunswick (1679- 1689). Member of the Road Board in 1895. 


PERRY, Thomas. He arrived on the 13/4/1864 on the Clara. He employed a ticket of leave man in Bunbury in 1875. He left for South of Australia on the 16/06/1877.


PETERSON, C.H. Petitioner for the railway to Bunbury in 1887. 


PHILLIPS, Henry. Henry was born in Bunbury, employed a ticket of leave cook in 1869 and a ticket of leave labourer in 1870. 


PHILLIPS, William. William was a Bunbury gardener (1879-1885). 


PICKERSGILL, George Thomas (1847-). Born in the United Kingdom, George was the son of Joshua and Ann. Arrived 28/04/1853 with mother on the Palestine. Married Jessie Maria Woodman in 1869. Children were William (1870), William (1871), George H. (1873-1874), Catherine J. (1875), George Henry (1877), Nance. Henry(1883), Algina born (1886). George was a Bunbury carter from 1870 to 1889. They were applied for temporary poor relief for the family while he was in the hospital.  


PICKERSGILL, Joshua (1822-). He was the son of a labourer, arrived on 18/10/1851 on the Minden. Married Ann Bolden (1821-1886) in the United Kingdom. She arrived 28/04/1853 on the Palestine with two Children, William (1839), George (1847), Elizabeth (1850), Martha (1854), baptised in The Church of England. Jane (1856), Emma (1858), Joshua (1860), Anne (1862-1864) died in Bunbury. Joshua was a Tanner in Bunbury in 1868. Employed eleven ticket of leave men on occasions from 1866 to 1875. He visited England in 1881. He or his son departed 24/01/1883 for South Australia and returned 23/01/1884. 


PICKERSGILL, Joshua (1860). He was born in Western Australia. He was the son of Joshua and Ann. Married Susan Gibson (1865) in Picton in 1886. Daughter of William and Amelia. Children were Charles (1888), WaIter born around 1890, Edith (1893), Amelia Ann (1895), George (1897), Ernest Leslie (1900), Cyril (1902), Edward James (1904), Joshua Roy born around 1906. Joshua was a labourer. His residence was 46 Beach Road, Bunbury. 


PIERRE, Tommy, born around 1836 near Bunbury, died 11/1879 at sea near Albany. An Aboriginal servant to William Forrest for twenty-five years. He accompanied John and Alexander Forrest on their memorable exploration from Geraldton to Darwin Adelaide Telegraph line in 1874, and Alexander's exploration through the Kimberley district to Northern Territory in 1879. Tommy's health failed and he died within sight of Albany on their return home by ship. He was buried on top of Mt. Melville.


PIGGOTT, Alexander (1826). Arrived 11/09/1856 on the Runnymede, employed a ticket of leave men in 1873 in Bunbury. 


PIGGOTT, Benjamin (07/07/1814-24/07/1892). Benjamin was born in England and died in Harvey. He was the son of Thomas and Mary arrived 23/05/1844 on the Trusty with his wife, daughter and brother James. He married Sarah Eagleton (10/4/1814-26/07/1907) in England on 01/11/1841. Sarah was born in England and died in Harvey, daughter of Adrian and Sarah. Children were Sarah Elizabeth (1842-1928), born in England, Charlotte (1845-1912), Mary Caroline (1846-1912), twin daughters born 1848, Thomas Adrian (1849-1929), Elizabeth (1852-1925), Benjamin (1853-1935). He was a Farmer in the 1840's1840's at Parkfield and then in Springhill in the 1850's1850's. He owned 100 acres in Australind and later was at Parkfield with Ephriam Clarke. He employed nineteen ticket of leave men on occasions from 1863 to 1878 at Rosamel, Springhill and Blackwood. He was a member of the Church of England. 


PIGGOTT, James (1822-16/5/1888). James was born in Bunbury. He was son of Thomas and Mary arrived on 23/05/1844 with his brother Benjamin. Married Johanna Simons (Simmonds) (1819-11/07/1887) in Australind on 01/01/1852. She arrived on 27/07/1850. Children were William James (1856-1930), Joseph Eynr Thomas Shatre, John died at 20 yrs, Elizabeth. James was a Bunbury Farmer, later became a tanner and shoemaker. He was a tenant, then owner of Ditchingham, a farm in Brunswick River formerly owned by Dr Bedingfieldied. Employed nine ticket of leave men on occasions from 1864 to 1874. He was a member of The Congressional church.


PIGGOTT, William James (29/01/1856-16/7/1930). William was born in Bunbury. He was the son of James and Johanna. The first marriage in Picton Matilda Moore (31/12/1860- 30/10/1884). Daughter of Alfred and Louisa (nee Flaherty). Second marriage to Mercy Rose Harriot (11/01/1865-24/6/1940) on 13/02/1889. Daughter of Thomas and Mary. Children to first marriage were Herbert (1881-1939), Lewis WaIter (1882-1952), Caroline (1883 (reared by Newton Moore, Uncle). Children to his second marriage were Daisy (1889), Celia (1891), Maud (1893), Edward James (1895), Albert Stephen (1897), Ernest William (1899), Alice Rosamund (1901), Arnold Thomas (1903), Edgar Cyril (1906). William was a Bunbury and Brunswick farmer in 1885. He occupied 700 acres. 


PLANT, George (1828). George arrived 11/02/1862 on the Palmerston. He married Mary Ann Leonard (1844) in Perth on 22/11/1864. She arrived on 12/12/1863 on the Tartar. Children were George (1866). George was a Bunbury tailor in 1870. He employed four ticket of men in Guildford in 1869 and 1870.


POINTON, William (1830-08/04/1865). William was born in Bunbury and arrived (11/09/1856) on the Runnymede. Employed one ticket of leave man in Toodyay in 1859 and six ticket of leave men in Bunbury in 1863 and 1865.


PORT, James C. James arrived 18/05/1883 on the Franklin from South Australia and returned 25/05/1883. He arrived 02/08/1886 on the Ballarat from Eastern colonies. He pioneered the Collie Timber Mills with R. Honey, sold to Jarrah Timber & Wood Paving Co. in 1887. He was contracted to supply sleepers for railway construction from Perth to Bunbury in 1893.


POTTS, Henry (1832-10/03/1864). Born in Bunbury and arrived on 19/08/1859 on the Sultana. He employed a ticket of man in Toodyay in 1861.


PRATT, John, died from a fall from a horse on 22/08/1866. He arrived 24/10/1850 on the Hashemy as an enrolled Pensioner Guard with his wife Catherine Cahill (Gill). Children were Mary (1849), Margaret baptised in 1853, John (1844-1854), William, Annie, James. John was formerly a Private of the twenty-fourth Regiment. Granted a Pensioner Lot in Bunbury. His children married in Roman Catholic church in Bunbury. He was listed by Salvado in 1854. He employed a ticket of leave man in 1868 in Wandering.


PRATT, Walter (1839-07/1876). Walter arrived 14/07/1867 on the Norwood. He was a sawyer in Bunbury, died of an accident at the sawmill. His religion was Protestant. 


PRATT, William. Son of John and Catherine married Ann Lawlor in Bunbury on 24/05/1875. Daughter of John Wanneroo Carter (1886-9). Employed two ticket of leave men, one in 1865 to 1867 and the other in 1870.


PRINGLE, John. He married his first wife, Amelia Vincent (12/10/1845-10/02/1871), in Fremantle on 29/04/1864. She died at sea. Daughter of Henry and Louisa, she died at sea in childbirth. Her body was put in a zinc case with rum and then slung from the cabin roof and brought to the harbour for burial, married 2nd 12/08/1885 (Melbourne) Alexandra Belgrave of South Australia. Children were John Frederick (1869-1870), Andrew. Fremantle, master mariner 1865-77. Commander Sea Ripple, Spinaway (Spinaway sold in 1876, wife died onboard). He was the owner of Cingalee, bought in 1880 when wrecked at Bunbury on 18/06/1887. 


PRIOR, George William (1810-1882). He was born in England. He died in Albany. He arrived on 13/6/1853 on the Sabrina with his wife and three children. Married Elizabeth Golten (1810-1888) in the United Kingdom. Born in Bunbury died in Albany. Children were Henry Charles (1843-1895) born in England, Jane (1846-1938), Edward (1849-1856), born in England. George was a gardener in England. Carter and teamster in Vasse and later in Albany, where he was established as a publican. He employed twenty-two ticket of leave men on occasions from 1865 to 1873. He was a member of The Church of England.


PROCTOR, William (1830-). He arrived 18/07/1855 on Adelaide. He was the son of John, a butcher. Married Mary Touhy 8/4/1862, who was born in Ireland around 1830, died 24/2/1905 in Perth. Daughter of Edward Jacob and widow of Charles Allen. Children were Samuel born (1863-1936), Elizabeth (1864-1927). William was a labourer at Leschenault Cottage. Deserted his family and departed on 19/06/1865 for South Australia on the Alexandra.  


PROPERJOHN, Charles (02/1800-15/07/1854). He died in Bunbury, arrived 18/03/1841 on the Parkfield his first wife she died in England 1838. He married his second wife, Elizabeth Stennet (1818-02/06/1885). She died in Bunbury. Daughter of John, a carpenter, she married second Henry Thompson 27/07/1855. The child from the first marriage was Charles Daniel (1828-1911), 2nd marriage Hannah (1838-1898), Rebecca (1842-1910), Hary Ann Elha (1848-1913), Thomas (1849-1875), Emma Elizabeth (1853-1854). Remained in Australind for one year, then to Bunbury. Charles was a  farmer in Capel, then a butcher, then a painter and glazier. He was a member of The Church of England. 


PROPERJORN, Charles Daniel (1828-15/12/1911). Born in England died in Bunbury, arrived 18/03/1841 on the Parkfield with father Charles and stepmother Elizabeth. He married 21/08/1861 in Busselton Margaret Tuthill (1845-16/7/1921). Born in Ireland died in Claremont. Daughter of William Joshua and Margaret, she is said to have run away from home and was disinherited by her grandfather. Children were Margaret Jane (1862-1926), Emma (1863-1932), Fanny (1865-1922), Charles Edward (1867-1943), William Joshua (1869-1936), Alice (1870-1955), Hannah (1873-1948), Edith (1875-1963), Rebecca (1877-1920), Evaline Mary (1879-1946), Norman Clement (1890-1959). He was a shepherd for James Payne of Capel, later was manager of Payne'sPayne's properties. He leased Capel Farm until 1870. He was contracted to supply horses for the Bunbury and Busselton mail coaches three trips weekly. Established Capel Inn (Gallon License), sold to John Sampson, who sold it to T. Larkin. He employed nine ticket of leave men in 1865 to 1871. He nominated his cousins William and Ann Killpatrick In 1865. He was a scholar at Bluecoat School of London. He was a member of The Church of England. 


PROPERJOHN, Charles Edward (15/03/1867-10/10/1943). He was born in Capel and died in Bunbury, son of Charles Daniel and Margaret. He married 04/01/1888 (Bunbury Congreg) Catherine Amelia Scott (23/05/1867-06/07/1964). Daughter of John Scott and Catherine. Children were Allen Edward, Wesley (1891), Sylvia Zoe, Gladys Amelia, Arthur Claude. Lincoln Scott, Redvers Roberts. Rebecca Edna, Doris Enid, Dulcie Minna (1906-1945), Phyllis Ina, Verna Lily. Worked at Robert Forrest'sForrest's Koombana Flour Mill for around 50 years, first as a mechanic, then as a foreman. Held No. 13 Engine Driver'sDriver's Ticket 11/07/1905. Owned 10 acres part of Wellington Loc 41 and Lot 11. House and land In Stirling St, Bunbury. Educated at Capel. He was a member of the Church of England. 


PROPERJOHN, Thomas Edward (03/09/1849-14/01/1875). He was born in Bunbury, the son of Charles and Elizabeth. In 1874 joined the Police Force. He was posted in the North and died soon after.


PROPERJOHN, William Joshua (30/03/1869-22/07/1936). He was born in Capel and died in Maylands. William was the son of Charles Daniel and Margaret. First marriage Ellen Woodrow (28/10/1868-07/08/1909), born in Bunbury, died in Coolgardie, in Karridale on 28/04/1890. Daughter of Josiah and Mary Ann. Second marriage Clare Morris died 19/01/1959 in Perth, married in Melbourne on the 04/09/1918. Children to first marriage were William George baptised in 1890, Wesley Charles (1891-1895), Edward Jonah baptised in 1893, Alice Gladys baptised in 1895, Lily (1898), Clarence (1904). Children to second marriage were Edmund, Francis, Kever died in World war I. William commenced work in timber mills in the South West for thirteen years. He was appointed Technical Officer of Saw Hill, Pemberton. In 1924 launched his Australian Lumber Co. in Perth, sold in 1926 (later registered as Alco). In 1935 had half share in Haylands Hotel. Education at Capel. He was a member of The Church of England. 


PROSSER, Benjamin (08/03/1867-10.1905). He was born in Albany and died in Bunbury. He was the son of Thomas and Marianne. In 1885 married Selina Scott, born in Bunbury (21/07/1869-30/06/1969). Daughter of John and Catherine. Children were Ellen (1886- 1969) died in Northam, Muriel (1889-1911) died in Bunbury, Daisy (1892-1950). Benjamin worked in a flour mill in Bunbury. His religion was Methodist. He was a member of The Church of England.  


PROSSER, Henry. He was the son of Thomas and Marianne, married Rosina North (1862-1938) in 1881. Daughter of Daniel and Eliza. Children were Herbert baptised in 1884, Frederick Charles baptised in 1885, Theodore baptised in 1887, Thomas Daniel baptised in 1890, Geoffrey baptised in 1892, Ethel May (1895), Cecil Henry baptised in 1897, Leslie Roy (1901). Henry was a bootmaker in Bunbury, in partnership with brother WaIter established a tannery and later opened General Stores, managed by son Charles. 


PROSSER, Robert (1869-11/1939). He was the son of Thomas and Marianne. He married Amelia Gibson born around 1874 on 01/02/1892, daughter of William and Amelia. Children Maria Amelia baptised in 1893, William Thomas (1894), Robert Henry (1896), Reginald WaIter (1897), Ernest, Annie Laura (1900). George Frederick (1903), WaIter, Matthew. Hazel Elizabeth (1909-1910), Myrtle. Robert worked in his father's factory, later became a labourer and tanner. He lived in Fielder St, South Bunbury. 


PROSSER, Thomas (1830). He arrived on the 14/10/1854 on the Esmeralda with his wife and family. He married Marianne Pearson (01/1831-05/06/1909) in the United Kingdom. Children were Ellen (1852), Wallace (1853-1922) born in England, Jessie, William died 1863, Henry, Anne, Thomas (1863-1946), Benjamin (1867-1905) born in Albany, Robert (1869-1939), Alfred (1872). Thomas was a plasterer by trade, later worked as a shoemaker in Albany. In 1868 bought a town lot and employed four ticket of leave men from 1866 to 1872. He went to Kojonup and Bunbury.


PROSSER, Wallace (1853-07/07/1922). He was born in England. Wallace was the son of Thomas and Marianne. He arrived on the 14/10/1854 on the Esmeralda. Married Isabella Marion Scott (11/05/1858-04/03/1948) around 1879 in Bunbury. Daughter of John and Catherine of Bunbury. Children were Ethel (1879), Edith (1881), Katherine (1883), Marion (1885), Emily Georgina (1887), Alexander (1891), Elsie (1893), Agnes, Minna (1897), Sylvia (1895), Rita (1899), Phyllis (1902). Wallace was a bootmaker in Kojonup in 1876 and Bunbury from 1879 to 1889. Northampton and York Tanner. Assisted in the capture of Bobbinet, the Aboriginal who killed William Archibald Armstrong in 1875. 


PRYOR, Jeremiah (1833). Arrived on the 28/12/1863 on the Lord Dalhousie. Jeremiah was a Bunbury tailor in 1868. In 1877 signed a petition regarding discrimination against expirees.


PURDIE, Charles McMillan. Married Helena Jane Scott baptised in Bunbury 02/1867, Daughter of Robert and Jane.


PURNELL, Reverend Robert Hughes Wilkinson (1848-08/08/1920). He arrived 14/01/1880 on the Daylight from London with Annie. Anglican chaplain in Bunbury from 1880 to 1889, serving at Bridgetown, Busselton, Brunswick and Harvey. He returned to England 1889 to become a diocesan missionary at Gloucester. Degree at Oxford University.


PURVIS, John (1833-13/04/1853). John was in Bunbury. 


PUAID, C. Arrived on the Triumph from New Zealand to Derby via Sydney and Darwin to the Kimberley gold rush in 1886. He signed a petition protesting against the quarantine of ships in Derby for the case of scarlatina.
