Roly Poly Bacon Pudding

Ingredients

2 cups of flour

1 spoonful of baking powder

1 tablespoonful of dripping

½ lb. bacon

1 large onion

1 tablespoonful of thyme

Instructions

Mix flour, baking powder and dripping together, roll out on board, cut bacon into small pieces, and slice the onion; spread all over the pastry, and sprinkle the thyme over all; roll up in cloth; tie both ends of cloth securely. Boil for two hours. Serve hot. It is also nice fried up when cold.
